The Mists of Avalon

The Mists of Avalon - Marion Zimmer Bradley I tried, but couldn't do it. Maybe I'll try again, but it didn't catch my interest in the least.

edited summer 2009. I learned something new - while I couldn't drag myself through the paper version, the audio version is pretty good. I also learned that the collection of these audios at the public library are damaged so badly as to be completely unuseable. Drat it all.

Added Winter, 2010. I learned something else new - this has to be one of the most god-awful books ever written. I'm close to half way through this hideous tale and I've yet to discover a plot or one single personality in the whole thing. The characters are absolutely paper-dolls in their depth and development and all the women seem to do is whine. If this is your view of feminism, then you can have it!

Off to find a different Arthurian Legend - can't do this one.
